CMT Most Played Video CMT's newsmagazine, "CMT Insider", reported Shania's "Party For Two" debuted as the most played video of the week on CMT (U.S.).

UP! - Top Tour Finalist From Billboard.com Shania Twain's concert trek in support of her UP! album is a finalist for top tour at Billboard's first-ever Backstage Pass Awards. Other contenders for top tour are Madonna's Re-Invention and Prince's Musicology. The awards recognize the top achievements in touring, according to box-office data gathered from Billboard Boxscore reports between November 2003 and September 2004. They will be presented during the Billboard Backstage Pass touring conference, set for Nov. 8-9 at the Roosevelt Hotel in New York. In related news, 90 percent of the available seats were filled for the shows Shania performed between Memorial Day and Labor Day, according to Billboard Boxscore.

UP! Certified 11x Platinum! From CMT.com In other multi-platinum certifications for September 2004, Shania Twain's 2002 project, UP!, received RIAA status for shipments of 11 million copies. Congratulations Shania! Keep in mind, the 11 million copies is based on the RIAA's criteria for certification of double package recordings. Technically, around 5.5 million single units of UP! have been sold.

NBC Special To Air Nov. 26th! Here is the latest info about Shania's upcoming NBC special from rockontv.com. Shania Twain Special (title TBA) airs Wednesday, November 26 at 9:00-10:00pm ET on NBC. Shania Twain returns to NBC for her second network special, taped from Nashville, Tennessee. In a more intimate concert venue, Twain will perform unique renditions of her old and new favorites backed by multiple Grammy-winning musician Alison Krauss and Union Station for a special show that will appeal to all ages.

During Monday's taping of "The Oprah Winfrey Show" Shania Twain was reportedly quite emotional when talking about the impact of Dolly Parton's music on her life, especially the songs about growing up in poverty and humble beginnings (something Shania and Dolly have in common) reports MJI. As previously announced Twain and Parton sing together on Dolly's classic "Coat of Many Colors." Shania also sings her newest single "She's Not Just a Pretty Face" on the show that will air sometime during November sweeps (Nov. 4th).

New CD Single & Video! Shania's new international single, "Thank You Baby! (For Makin' Someday Come So Soon)", will be released on August 11th!

UP! To Be Released On DVD-Audio Universal Music Group (UMG), the world's leading music company, today announced its first DVD-Audio titles to be released in the United States beginning on September 23, 2003. Shania's UP! album will be released on DVD-Audio at a later date. DVD-Audio is a new music format that can provide a major advance in audio performance by providing the listener with high-resolution stereo and/or multi-channel surround sound music. DVD-Audio titles may also contain extra content, such as video material, photo galleries, bios and discographies. DVD-Audio is playable in any DVD-compatible CD player as well as in DVD-Video players. However, to experience the high-resolution audio and extra content, DVD-Audio discs require playback in a DVD-Audio player. You can tell if you have such a player by looking for the DVD-Audio/Video logo on the front of the player. Many DVD-Video players being sold today are also DVD-Audio players.

Shania Rocks "Today" Show! Shania rocked the "Today" show this morning as she performed "That Don't Impress Me Much", "Nah!" and "Forever And For Always." She sounded and looked great wearing black windbreaker type pants and a black mesh tanktop with a white bra underneath. Shania had funky red boxer or wrestling boots on.
