"Party For Two" On VH1 From Shania's Official Fan Club: Shania Twain's video for "Party For Two" (featuring Mark McGrath) has been added to VH1's playlist. Spins begin next Monday 10/18.

New Studio Album In 2006? From CountryStars.com Q: I know Shania Twain's Greatest Hits album is gonna be out pretty soon, but I wonder why she didn't record a new album instead of a greatest hits album? And, do you know anything about her next studio album? (Shovon, New York, NE) A: Shovon, Shania Twain decided now was the time for a greatest hits album because she's just been too busy promoting her last studio album UP! It took her over 4 years to record and release that album. Then, for the last two years she's been on a world tour to promote the album that has now sold 11 million copies. With a new single from the Greatest Hits album doing the leg work for a while, Shania and her husband/producer, Mutt Lange, can get busy writing and recording more songs to add to a new album due sometime in 2006.

Shania's Return To Be Followed By CTV From CTV: Twain is coming home and she is bringing CTV with her. As announced on etalk Daily last night, CTV has secured an exclusive broadcast engagement with international recording superstar Shania Twain timed for her return to Canada and her hometown of Timmins, Ontario next month. The multiple JUNO, Grammy, CMA and CCMA Award winner will be the focus of an upcoming CTV prime-time special that will air later this Fall (exact date TBA). In addition to the one-hour exclusive, CTV also revealed that Twain has signed on for a one-day stint as co-host of CTV's Canada AM for a live, on-location broadcast from Toronto's Yonge-Dundas Square, November 3. CTV's prime-time special is an exclusive chronicle of Shania's Nov. 2nd visit to Timmins. CTV camera crews have been granted exclusive access, providing viewers with candid, behind-the-scenes footage from her trip home, including her emotional first visit to the "Shania Twain Centre." Viewers will have an intimate view of Twain's first-time reaction to the museum dedicated to her blockbuster career. With Mulroney along for every step of the way, CTV cameras will also capture Twain as she greets fans, friends and family and visits other local landmarks during the memorable day. In between stops, Mulroney will follow-up on his recent interview with Twain from Montreau, Switzerland, discussing her 10-year career on the eve of the November 9 release of her new album, Shania Twain's Greatest Hits. The prime-time special will also feature highlights from Twain's stint the following day as co-host of Canada AM (November 3).

Shania To Co-Host "Canada AM." Shania will be co-hosting "Canada AM" on Wednesday, November 3rd. The show airs 6:30-9:00am on CTV. Here are some details from co-host Jeff Hutcheson: Shania Twain will be 'co-hosting' our show, live from Dundas Square in Toronto on Wednesday Nov. 3rd, from 8 to 9. Tomorrow on the show, we are launching a contest to bring a winner to Toronto for the taping and to meet Shania.

"Good Morning America" & CMA Awards Update ABC's "Good Morning America" and Shania Twain will be shutting down Lower Broadway on Nov. 5 for a live show and broadcast from Nashville, Sha-nay-nay's people confirmed yesterday. GMA has a regular concert series in New York, but the show's starting off a women-who-rock fall series right here in Music City. Why Nashville for the first show? Shania's greatest hits album is out Nov. 9, and she'll be here for the CMA Awards show that same night. The entire GMA crew is expected to be here, so we'll see Diane Sawyer, Charles Gibson, Robin Roberts and Tony Perkins. But if the election is getting particularly heated, Mr. Gibson may stay in New York. Then again, if there's any hot news breaking, GMA may cancel the whole Nashville segment all together as has happened in the past. Shania is expected to do four songs, including her current duet, "Party for Two," with Billy Currington. And yes, ladies, Billy, recently on Nashville Lifestyles' 25 most beautiful list, will be at the live broadcast. The event will be open to the public on a first-come, first-allowed-in kinda way, right there at the intersection of Fifth and Broadway. But I'll have a contest later this month for VIP access. Shania, by the way, is in good company. Others slated for the women-who-rock series include Destiny's Child and Gwen Stefani of No Doubt.

Also today, the Country Music Association has confirmed that Billy Currington will join Shania to perform their hit duet "Party For Two" at the CMA Awards on Tuesday, Nov. 9th. The show will air 8:00-11:00pm ET on the CBS Television Network live from the Grand Ole Opry House in Nashville, TN. Shania will be a special guest of hosts Brooks and Dunn at this year's event.

Febreze Scentstories A couple months ago, Shania teamed up with Febreze to launch their new ScentStories scent player. Check out this latest promotional email that has been sent out to subscribers of their site. They are promoting Shania's upcoming Greatest Hits CD and "UP! Close And Personal" DVD as well as her latest single "Party For Two".
